DJ Curator & Keeper of the Groove
You may already know his mantra: “The Blues is the roots, everything else is the fruits,” — a quote from Willie Dixon, and one that Bruno lives by.
Born in the 60s, raised in Paris, and rooted in the French West Indies through his mother, Bruno was nourished from a young age by the rich sounds of Caribbean and Black American music. His musical journey began in family celebrations, learning to place vinyl on the record player under the guidance of his uncles — and dancing feverishly in living rooms filled with joy.
Today, Bruno is a DJ, dancer, Blues historian, workshop leader, and the founder of Le Bureau du Blues — spreading the spirit of the Blues by any means necessary. His DJ sets are like lovingly crafted Creole recipes: bold, flavourful, and prepared for community. Expect Blues in all its forms, spiced with Gospel, Jazz, Rhythm and Blues, Soul, and Funk — all inviting you to dive deep into the groove.
As DJ Curator for Blues Remix 2025, Bruno brings not only his music but his deep knowledge and respect for the culture behind it. He’ll be collaborating with our DJ team and artists to help craft a musical journey that reflects the full richness and versatility of the Blues.
It’s an ambitious mission — but one rooted in joy, humility, and love for the culture.
